In the Office

Good financial advice starts with understanding the person behind the plan. Everyone’s relationship with money is different, and my job is to make sure clients feel confident — not just about what we’re recommending, but why.

At Define Financial, I focus on the details that make plans work: analyzing client situations, stress-testing recommendations, and translating complex concepts into language that’s easy to act on. I genuinely enjoy digging into the numbers, because I know the small details are often what separate a good plan from a great one.

Curiosity drives how I approach this work. The more I understand someone’s life and priorities, the more useful I can be, now and years down the road.

Behind the Scenes

My interest in financial planning started at home.

Growing up around family members in the financial planning profession I saw firsthand how thoughtful advice could change the way people felt about their finances — less anxious, more in control. That stuck with me.

I went on to study finance at the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, where I got especially interested in the intersection of planning, investing, and the behavioral side of decision-making.

Since then, I’ve focused on building real experience in wealth management. learning from great mentors and putting in the work, including 200+ hours preparing for the CFP® exam. What keeps me motivated is simple: this job genuinely helps people, and that matters.

Outside of the Office

Hometown Roots

A proud Cincinnatian at heart — which means unwavering Bengals loyalty and strong opinions about Skyline Chili being criminally underrated by the rest of the country.

Foodie

Exploring San Diego’s food scene is basically a hobby. Current obsession: the poke bowl at Nico’s in Pacific Beach. Hard to beat.

Beach Bound

San Diego has no shortage of coastline, and finding new spots along it is one of my favorite ways to spend a weekend.

Staying Active

Yoga and Pilates are my reset buttons — keeping me clear-headed and ready for whatever the week brings.
